Caring for the Community: Bellingham

We’re introducing you to our over 20 locations in eight different states. Our Agencies share our core values of integrity, dedication and empathy, but ultimately, they’re shaped by the communities they serve. This week, we’re introducing you to Eden Home Health of Bellingham. They provide home health services to Island, Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom Counties.

Supporting the Northern Washington Neighborhood

Eden Home Health of Bellingham’s community involvement is deep. They provide free programs like fall-prevention, transfer-safety, and home health training and education. And for a bit of fun, they’ll host Santa visits, walker rodeos, sponsor Senior Day in the Park, and more.

Some community partners Eden Home Health of Bellingham are grateful to work with include Meals on Wheels, Island Senior Resources, the Alzheimer’s Association, Elder Service Providers, and the Senior Care Network. Not to mention the local Adult Family Homes, assisted and skilled living communities, and Chambers of Commerce across their service area.

“These collaborations strengthen our ability to ensure seniors and their families always have access to the right care and resources,” said Executive Director Elaine Solorzano.

A Diverse and Beautiful Community

Eden Home Health of Bellingham’s community is especially unique because of the diverse and beautiful counties they serve. Whatcom is known for its vibrant arts scene, historic Fairhaven district, and easy access to Mount Baker. Skagit has rich agriculture and scenic riverfronts. It also hosts the world-famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Island County provides coastal charm with places like Deception Pass, Ebey’s Landing, and Whidbey Island’s welcoming small towns. Lastly, Snohomish combines natural beauty with urban convenience. It features hiking trails, waterfront parks, and a strong network of senior resources and community programs. Each county has its own character, and together they create a supportive, connected region where people take pride in caring for one another.

Outside of work, the team enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest by hiking local trails, walking along their beaches, spending time with their pets, gardening, cooking, exploring local restaurants and wineries, browsing through famers markets, and spending quality time with friends and family.
